On October 8, our junior high students will once again be participating in a day long spiritual retreat led by Net Ministries. This retreat is a wonderful opportunity for our students to build their relationship with God and challenge them to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. We are fortunate to be able to provide this unique opportunity to our St. Andrew Campus students; however we need your help.
Net Ministries makes this event affordable because they look to families to host their youth ministers for a night or two as they work the retreat. We are looking for families willing to be hosts for our group of volunteers. There are 13 young men and women ranging in ages 18-26 that will arrive on October 7. Our host families would need to provide them with dinner for that night and a place to lay their head. According to Net Ministries’ regulations, no one is permitted to be housed by themselves, so our hosts would have to accommodate at least two. One of our youth ministers has a special request, in that they are allergic to cats. If you are willing to be a host, please send Tom Devolve an email and he will contact you regarding more specifics.
