St. Andrew-St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School

All Saints Day

4th grade students chose and researched a saint, wrote a report and designed a shield covered with symbols and decorations that represented the faith and life of their chosen saint.  At Mass the students processed into church carrying their shields. During the homily, Fr. Cordier invited them to the altar where he asked each student which saint they were representing.  He also had them share what they liked about their saints and the meaning behind one of their symbols. It was truly a wonderful experience for everyone learning about so many amazing saints – the heroes of our church.
