Week of September 28, 2015

This week we will be having the Everybody Counts Program on Tuesday morning.  This is a very worthwhile program that teaches tolerance for each and every person God has made.
Religion - We are in the middle of our unit on Mary and beginning our Mary Project.  The students saw a powerpoint litany presentation on Mary.  Every student will be given a title for Mary and asked to find a picture that goes with that title. Once they have their picture, they are to write about why they chose that particular picture to go with their title.  All pictures are due by this Friday.
Language Arts - Our WoW word is impeccable.  The prompt is: What do you think tastes impeccable?  We will be learning about nouns as indirect objects and as the object of a preposition in grammar.
Social Studies - We are finishing up our lesson on the Early People and working on The Eastern Woodland Native Americans.  When finished with this lesson, the students should be able to compare and contrast the life of the Early People and the Eastern Woodland Native Americans.
