A
new opportunity for students in grades 6,7 and 8:
Open
Studio will be held Mondays from 2:45pm until 3:45pm. If a student would like to work
on an art project in the art lab, he or she must sign up in advance and bring a
signed note from his or her guardian granting permission to stay after school.
Only 15 students may participate each Monday. Please pick up you child no later
than 4pm in the school parking lot. This opportunity is free of charge and is
available for students who wish to work on their assigned art projects or an art
piece of their own choosing. Artists, writers, musicians and many professionals
often work in the same space in order to share not only resources but advice and
encouragement as well. My hope is to foster a supportive and creative
environment for students to thrive.
Please
contact me if you have any questions.
