Financial Assistance

As we plan for the next school year, we want to apprise you of three different grant programs available to assist our SASEAS School families. It is the desire of both St. Andrew and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishes that any family who wants to send their children to our school is given every opportunity and as much aid as possible. We want every family to take advantage of the excellent Catholic education that we offer.

1) "One Faith, One Hope, One Love" Campaign:  The newest program awarding grant money is a result of the recent Archdiocesan campaign and more information is available at:

http://catholicbestchoice.org/k-8-tuition-information/

Tuition support grants are awarded in $250, $500, $750, and $1000 per student amounts.  Families must first apply for this support before seeking parish/school support.  The initial deadline is January 31.

2) The tuition assistance program that is administered by SASEAS School awards approximately $20,000 annually to St. Andrew and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parishioners.  Contact the school principal for more information.

Application for both of these programs can be accessed through the school web site www.saseasschool.org by clicking on the FACTS link or by going directly to online.factsmgt.com/aid. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for SASEAS School and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for the upcoming school year.  Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by the end of January. Once your application has been completed, the following information must be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:

  • Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of your most recent W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
  • Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
  • Processing fee paid directly to FACTS Management

You can submit all supporting documentation by uploading them in a pdf format online, fax to 866-315-9264 or mail to the address below.  Please be sure to include the applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence. You may contact FACTS directly to speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 866-441-4637.

3) The third program which offers assistance is the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship program administered by the State of Ohio.  This award is based on the number of people in your household and your gross annual income. A family of four qualifies if their gross annual income was $48,600 or less.

To determine if you might qualify for this program please contact Mrs. Sandy Reed at the Seton Campus or Mr. Wilburn.  We will alert all families when this application process opens. If you would like to explore this option online you may do so at: education.ohio.gov/edchoice.

We have much to be thankful for and we at SASEAS School are ever thankful for the enriching presence of your children and your family in our school and in our parishes.

If you have questions as you explore the EdChoice option and would like personal assistance, please contact EdChoice staff at edchoice@education.ohio.gov. You may also contact Sandy Reed at 575-0093, reeds@saseas.org.
