Due to the four day week, the prompt and the spelling test will be on Friday.

In grammar, we are continuing our study of nouns. This week we will be covering collective, concrete, and abstract nouns.  We will then move on to identifying the subject in a sentence.

While reading From the Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, the students will be learning about story parts by identifying the plot, setting, complications, antagonists, and protagonists in the story.
