I am very eager to begin my 23rd year of teaching. I am as passionate about guiding students to become readers who love to read and writers who love to write as the day I started my career. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Purdue University and earned my Masters from Wright State. I specialize in reading with a K-12 Reading Endorsement. I began my career teaching in a 3rd grade classroom for many years and have spent the last 10 years teaching Reading at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. My husband Mike and I celebrated our 32nd anniversary and have been blessed with 3 amazing children (Patrick, 29, Bridget, 26 and Connor, 21) and a yellow lab named Princess Ellie. I enjoy spending time playing at the lake with boating, fishing, and hiking with family and friends. I spend most of my time doing what I love most - Reading…either teaching it or experiencing it. How lucky am I!
