Classroom Policy

Classroom Rules
1. Be on time
2. Have everything you need for class every day
3. Be courteous and respectful to all who are in this class
4. Follow all procedures and guidelines

Procedures and Guidelines
1. Be in your assigned seat and working on the assigned tasks.
2. Follow direction the first time they are given
3. Treat each person in this room with respect and dignity
Student Responsibility Form:  This is for students who do not have the assigned work 
  • Get a sheet from the teacher
  • Fill it out - BE SPECIFIC
  • sign and date it
  • Return it to the teacher
Missing Assignments Procedure
  • Students will come in during recess to work on the assignment not finished by the due date
  • If the assignment is not complete by the next day, a demerit is issued and the student will work on the assignment again during recess
  • Third and fourth late assignments will result in a demerit
  • Every late assignment after the fourth will result in a detention
Grading Policy
  • Students are graded using a weighted system, the breakdown is as follows:
                             Tests and Projects: 60%
                             Quizzes, Homework and Assignments:  40%
