Week of February 10th-14th
I hope everyone enjoyed the surprise 3-day weekend! I sure did, but now we are left with a CRAZY next couple of days! Due to our upcoming 4-day weekend, the 5th grade play practices, special presentations, and our trip to Saint Andrews for our shadow day, we are certainly strapped for class time! Let's see what we can accomplish this week! Before we take a peek into the week, here are some reminders!
*February 10th-COCO will be visiting our classroom to discuss bullying behavior and strategies to deal with it
*February 13th-bring Valentines to share with the whole class (optional) and a bag to collect Valentines from others.
*February 13th-Biography Living Museum in the Cafeteria 11:00-11:30 (this is a change in time)
*February 13th-National Children's Theater Presents Energy Endgame to whole school at 2:30 in Gym
*February 14th and 17th-NO SCHOOL
*February 21st-Visit to Saint Andrews Campus for Shadowing. Permission forms will go home today and MUST be returned THURSDAY
*February 27th-5th Grade Plays! Our class will perform at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm
*Our snack supply is dwindling again
Today we reviewed chapter 9. We will have our chapter 9 test on Wednesday and will move on to Chapter 10 next week
This week we will focus on reading as much of The Bridge to Terabithia as possible. There will be an open-book quiz over chapters 5-9 Tuesday. The biography report is due February 13th. The posters look great!!! No Spelling, Grammar, or Reading Skills this week.
